Company law

The company law legislation contains the general provisions on private and public limited companies, housing companies, limited partnerships, associations and foundations.

The laws contain provisions on the establishment of companies and on the rights and obligations of shareholders, members and members of the management body. The laws also stipulate the decision-making, management and representation of an association and the responsibilities of shareholders, members, management members and auditors. Company law contains i.a. the rules that govern decision-making at general meetings and board meetings, capital raising, liquidation and issues related to ownership and the forms for it. For companies that are listed on the market, questions often arise where both company law and stock market law and good practice must be taken into account. Since company law has a basic function in the everyday life of companies, most companies need company law advice in some form at different times.
